Floors to Floor you!

Truwood Engineered wooden floors are not solid wood, instead they are created from multiple layers of veneer and lumber bonded together. The top layer, also called as wear layer, is genuine hardwood and the engineered components underneath make the flooring more stable, easier to install, and more environmentally friendly than traditional solid hardwood flooring.

Hardwood floors offer the unmistakable charm and timeless beauty only found in authentic, real wood. They are never out of fashion and add real value to the home. Ideal for both the home or commercial applications, engineered flooring incorporates the latest easy fit joint systems providing you with a highly attractive, strong and secure floor that will last for years to come.

Engineered hardwood floors offer several advantages over solid wood floors. Thanks to advancements in manufacturing technology, engineered wood floors can be used in almost any room in the home. The engineered base structure design improves stability, increases the floors durability and ensures a quick, easy and accurate installation. The cross-grain construction helps to lessen the effects caused when wood naturally expands and contracts due to temperature and humidity.

The floors are pre-finished with 7 layer UV cured PU lacquer including two layers of Aluminum Oxide for improved wear resistance. The edges of the flooring are Tongue & Grooved for perfect laying on a sub floor.

Truwood Floors come in a variety of options with respect to the thickness of the wear layer – 0.6mm, 1.5mm or 3.6mm thick. The engineered component below is also constructed of tropical hardwood with the balancing layer of thickness equal to the wear layer. Truwood Floors are available in two variations - long strip and single strip.

Truwood floors are available in a wide range of species.
